The beginning of OpenSource-Ideas.com
Once upon a time, there was a young engineer called babouyes. He lived in Germany, very far away from his birth place in South America. He loved to dream and create new ideas. It was like he had an idea-machine inside his head. The big problem was that he was rarely able to finish something he started… Nobody can count the many projects he started without finishing them.
Some day, he had the idea, that the problems of his life could be solved by learning some “time management” (later on, he learned that in fact, it is not possible to manage time… but it is possible to manage, or let’s say, to focus your attention to the most important things of the particular moment). He decided to change his life… and it was good. He started to read and learn how to manage oneself and how to get things done. The system consists of some important lists, where you can easily find yourself doing just the right thing at the right moment.
He started to create lists of almost everything… and there was a very special list on his system: the project list. In this list, he could find all the projects he had running… and even the many projects he had just started or wanted to. Many of his ideas were there…. and there were too many.
One Summer’s day, he took a look at his project list, and realized, that he just won’t ever have enough time to realize all the projects he dreamed of… he said: “all this great stuff…. for nothing? Damn it”…. But what to do???? He was annoyed
A few days later, on a great stormy day, he was driving with his bike from here to there, the sky over the city covered with dark clouds and the sun could not be seen. In the middle of thunders and fog, he stopped… “I feel something coming”. Suddenly, it was warm inside his heart. Like a shock wave, the rain was pushed away from his perception field… Some even said, a lightening bold hit his bike.. In this magical moment, a great new idea was born.
“If I have no time for all the great projects I wanna see running… let’s have everyone take a look at them, maybe one would create something good from my ideas”. He decided to make some of his great ideas “open source”… opensource-ideas.com was born!
He didn’t think about the meaning of doing this… Now he’s released from the burden of developing all his ideas… his heart is much lighter now… and his mind is open for new ideas!
